Description
An account of the resource
The open headpiece is centred on the top of the page and runs the width of the letterpress. The headpiece shows three human figures of equal size from the bust up, spaced evenly with one at the centre and one on either side. Each is wearing a crown, is facing forward, and has their head resting on their hands, with their elbows resting on an open book. The figures on the left and right have their hands clenched, while the central figures has open hands. A double-ruled semi-circle is behind each person, filled with black ink; the one on the left is decorated with a trefoil design of white circles, the one in the centre has dagger-like white leaves, and the one on the right is decorated with a white flower on either side of the head. The figures on the left and right have open eyes, looking toward the central figure, whose eyes are closed or downcast. The figures on the left and right wear high, pointed collars, while the one in the centre has the clothing lying flat across their body. From left to right, their collars are decorated with squares, circles, and diamonds.

Description
An account of the resource
The open tailpiece is centred under the letterpress. The tailpiece is comprised of two continuous ribbons that interlace from the centre outwards. There are four ends that are placed equally apart, each with a small circle. From these terminal points, the ribbons are filled with black ink, except where there is overlapping. There is one large section of checkered knotwork at the centre of the ornament.
