The letter is composed of one horizontal and one vertical line. The vertical line is centred on the page and is flared at the bottom. The horizontal line rests centred atop the vertical line. It is flared on both ends but the right side is flared on the diagonal. A grotesque human figure stands in profile to the left of the vertical line with their right arm reaching out towards the letter. The figure has long ears and a naked torso; their lower half is covered by draperies and foliage. There are leaves, flowers, and vines behind the initial letter and spread out throughout the innermost box of the rectangle.

Initial letter N is capitalized. The letter is framed within a double-lined square. The letter is white on a black background, the background is studded with white dots. The letter is composed of two vertical lines on the left and right side of the page; they are connected by a diagonal line that runs from the top of the right line to the bottom of the left. The bottom of the right line and the top of the left tine are flared. Above the diagonal line and to the left of the right line there is engraved the head of a lion, facing frontally.
