Description
An account of the resource
The open headpiece is centered on the top of the page and runs the width of the letterpress. The headpiece shows two human faces facing frontally. Behind the two faces is a zig-zag pattern that is comprised of diagonal lines filled with black ink of varying thickness. Each face is enclosed within a rectangular shape that is cut off at the top of the face, where it connects with a separate zig-zag pattern, and runs the width of the rectangle. The background zig-zag pattern continues within the rectangles, in alternating bands of black and white.

Description
An account of the resource
The open tailpiece is centred under the text and takes up about half the page. At the centre of the image is a small grotesque creature. The figure is facing forward, sitting cross-legged with its hands resting on its knees. The figure has pointed ears. A large geometric shape surrounds the figure, formed of diagonal lines, triangles, circles, and spirals. The upper corners of the ornament form heraldic triangles containing sword shapes; the bottom of the ornament terminates in a downward pointing arrow.

Description
An account of the resource
The open headpiece is centred on the top of the page and runs the width of the letterpress. The ornament features a large mythical creature, likely a dragon, that stretches across the entire image. The dragon is moving toward the left, but its head is turned backward to face a human figure with long, light hair and a pointed beard sitting on its back, and shown in profile. His left hand is held down and is resting on the beast, but his right hand is raised above his head and is holding a sword. The beast’s mouth is open, showing pointed teeth. In front of the beast on the far left another male figure with long, dark hair and a pointed beard sits between the dragon’s front feet. His right arm is stretched out so that his palm rests on the beast, as if pushing it away. Various patterns of stripes and circles decorate the beast’s body. Its tail is wrapped in a large knot on the right side of the ornament.
